I thought I'd seen the last of the crashes but it just crashed again and generated a Microsoft error report.

Error signature
EventType : clr20r3 P1 : camuniversal.exe P2 : 3.0.2779.14856
P3 : 46bd6214 P4 : camuniversal P5 : 3.0.2779.14856 P6 : 46bd6214
P7 : 68a P8 : 0 P9 : system.indexoutofrangeexception

Error report was quite long but I will post it if you need it.

Any idea why?

Hi,

it seems, that an index was out of range! But where and why ...?

You can send me the error report to my email address.
So I can see if I find something!

Hi Marc,

I am still getting this crash. It only happens when I have both the webserver + video network + client running. Typically it seems to happen about an hour later. I also noticed the overall CPU useage was often high around the same time. I have tested by running just the web server and just the video server and had no crashes. When I have web webserver, video server and video client running at the same time then it crashes.

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : camuniversal.exe P2 : 3.0.2899.27248
P3 : 475bf6e6 P4 : camuniversal P5 : 3.0.2899.27248 P6 : 475bf6e6
P7 : 697 P8 : 0 P9 : system.indexoutofrangeexception

I tried to send you a copy of the full report but I can't find a way to do it. The report is v.long and the window small and copy paste isn't allowed!!

The strange thing is camuniversal keeps running and working normally even after the error. As soon as I respond to error CamUniversal is shutdown!
The problem is reproducible

Hello,

have you used different ports for the webserver and the video network?

Please run with the -analyze parameter to create the analyze.txt file.
Perhaps I can see something in the protocol!

Hi,

I do use different ports. I have sent you an email with the analyze.txt file of the last crash.

After some further testing today I now find I cannot run the video client and server .. it always generates an error from 5mins to an hour after starting. If I respond to the error then camuniversal is terminated. This error occurrs even without the webserver running. This happens on my PC but not on my laptop!

Still getting this problem with the latest version. CamUniversal causes error message which closes CamUniversal. Seems to occur when client and video server are running only.

edited to add: that it only occurs when a camera is sending pictures to the video server which is of course when the cleint and video server are also running. I have tested for serveral days video client and server and had no crash as longs as no pictures were being sent to the server.
