Hi!
I bought CamPermanent and I could run the Video Network and Web Server in my company LAN using local IP addresses. Unfortunately I can’t run the Video Network and Web Server by Internet using a static IP address and LAN ports. Always when I try to set the IP address and port (checking “Use This IP Address) in the Video Server or in the Web Server on the computer where the camera is connected , I receive the message: “The requested address is not valid in its context”.
Please, help me to overcome the problem!

Hello,

so the webserver and the video network are running well! Additional infos are here: http://www.crazypixels.com/camuni-manual-part7.htm

The option "Use this IP Address" is used to select a different address as the program has detected by itself.
The detected address is above shown in this dialog.
It could be, that your PC has 2 network cards and the program detects the first, but you would use the second.
In this case you can use this option.

But it is not useful for your purpose.

To use the webserver or video network from the Internet you have to adjust your router.
Please read this thread for helping: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26&hilit=dyndns
