Hi,

I've a VIVOTEK PT3122 IP camera, that supports both still video at http://<IP>/cgi-bin/video.jpg and MPEG-4 streaming at
http://<IP>/cgi-bin/video.vam (maybe at rtsp://<IP>:554/live.sdp). When I try to add that MPEG4 stream in CamPermanent I get a warning "Could not create DirectShow Filtergraph!".

Searching for "cgi-bin/video.vam" I found that this is very common, but I could not find any special codec or direct show filters for that. Do I have to select any Record Codecs in the New Camera dialog?
BTW: Still picture mode works (w/o any codecs )
BTW2: if in iexplorer I type the url: http://<IP>/cgi-bin/video.vam I can see the bytestreaming..

On web there is many of vivotek cam live: http://www.vivotek.com/products/live_demo.php

Any tips?

Hello,

the demo cameras from the web are running inside of websites which comes from the camera webserver.
I need to have the direct URL to the video stream like http://<IP>/cgi-bin/video.vam
Can you support me with such an URL for testing?
You can send me this URL by email.

Hello !

I tried the Camuniversal Trial program. Two cameras here: VIVOTEK ip7132 and VIVOTEK IZ7151 the IZ7151-est you can set (http:// <ip>: <port> / video.mjpg) and id works correctly, but the 7132-est does not work (RTSP : / / <ip>: <rtspport> / live.sdp) always get the message that "Could not create DirectShow Filtergraph!"
Please help me, what's the problem?
If you work, it would make sense to buy the program.

Thank You !

Hello,

I'm sorry, but rtsp streaming is not possible yet.
I'm just involved into improving the program in this direction.

There are 2 possibilities now:
1. you use the mjpeg streaming
2. if the camera supports mpeg4 streaming over http (additional to rtsp) you can adjust the camera to do this
(you must have installed the DirectShow mpeg4 drivers from the manufacturer)
